Lorbeer Middle School

A Purpose-Driven School Seeking Success For All

July 31, 2019

Hello, Lorbeer Families,

My name is Krista Fairley, and I’m delighted to be the new Principal at Lorbeer Middle School. I look forward to meeting all of you as we begin the 2019-2020 school year together!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I began teaching in the Ontario/Montclair School District in 1999. I love teaching! In 2008, Alvord Unified School District (western Riverside) hired me as an Assistant Principal and then as a Principal.  After six years as a Principal in Riverside, I moved to the Pomona Unified School District, and have served as Kingsley Elementary's Principal for the last three years. Leading a school where children are learning and growing every day is a privilege for me. And I, in turn, am excited to be at Lorbeer Middle School where I can learn from and grow with all of you.

As the mother of a seventh-grade daughter and a four year old son, I understand how important it is for parents to know their children are learning and safe each day at school. I am responsible for the well-being, education, and safety of your child while they are at Lorbeer, and I want you to know I take that job seriously.

We  invite you to join us on campus as you are able to do so. Mrs. La Mascus, the Assistant Principal, and myself are a team and our doors are always open.  Please check our school website for information. We are working on creating an email distribution list of information to update families as well.

We look forward to welcoming all of you. Please introduce yourself so I can begin learning the names of the Lorbeer families! Thank you.
